This is so awesome, I don't want to lose it:

I'm completely irked. Since I registered for life late, and figured out what Blackboard was the day before my first class, my books were on the way. Well, one of my books isn't here yet, the teacher is less than understanding (and not bitchie, just "oh dear, I hope it arrives!") and the one dude I have contacting me back about borrowing it is flaky. ARG.

Just frustrated.

Also? I think I'm teething. No shit. Like, I like that last wisdom tooth might be coming in. I feel like I scratched the gum. But it's been like that for DAYS. They said that this was impacted, but they said it about the last one, and that fucker came in straight.

Arg.

I'm gonna take notes on my Women's Psych class. That teacher is kick ass.

ETA: I just had to re-read my chapter, since the e-book I have is apparently NOT the actual book (which I got when I was at work) for the class. It's a shame, I actually like the e-book *way* better.

Hm.

Back from Penn Lite. Good times were had. So exhausted.

It was surreal being on site, when it's like, half assedly set up. So weird.

Napped under a tree after an HOUR of sleep Saturday morning. Then napped in Silver's tent after getting a foot massage from his minion, Jess. Then fed on a ton of filet mignon that was wrapped i bacon & cooked in salt. *UNF*

Drank with Pippi n' friends, walked all over site, and chilled at the Lost Boys.

Bought two new shirt things for under my cholis. *gleeeee* One matches the skirt I made.

Slept in a bubble tent of freezing doom. Luckily I am a genius.

Today.

Andrew & I raped JoAnn's for fabric. Then we cut up a fuck ton of cherries for cordial making.

Now at the haven. Watching some anime about bread, while eating bread.

So.
Fucking.
Tired.

Today is my mother's 51st bday. Woo. Tomorrow is my dad's 58th.

Gonna finally catch up on Grey's Anatomy's season finale.

Oh, and http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/ is fun as hell :D

OH MY GOD.

I totally weigh more than Kirstie Alley.

I have no doubt that she can wear smaller sizes than me. Hence, cuter clothes. Gr.

DAMN YOU GUT.

*pokes fat*

Regardless of weight, I think that she's always been gorgeous because of her eyes. Those don't get fat, people. Git over it.

The Bride Was Beautiful

Katie Kirkpatrick, 21, held off cancer to celebrate the happiest day of her life. Katie had chased cancer, once only to have it return-to clog her lungs and grab hold of her heart. Breathing was difficult now, she had to use oxygen. The pain in her back was so intense it broke through the morphine that was supposed to act as a shield. Her organs were shutting down but it would not stop her from marrying Nick Godwin, 23, who was in love with Katie since 11th grade.

Totally. Fucking. Crying.

Wow.

SexyPeople

Why are the 80s back in style? Seriously. I don't understand. There was nothing good about that fashion era.

I would also like to add, THANK GOD for contact lenses.

What were our parents thinking when they dressed us? Why was it okay to look like that?

Dear gods.

Thanks NBC... S&M Whips Couples into Shape

Whip it good - and you'll reap the romantic rewards.

Couples who regularly engage in S&M practices like spanking, bondage or other semi-violent fetish fantasies end up bound closer together and stress-free, a pair of new studies shows.

Men and women who participated in the studies, published together this week in the Archives of Sexual Behavior Journal, showed increased levels of testosterone - and pleasure - when their S&M experiences went well.

Those who reported good S&M experiences also showed a increase in cortisol, indicating a corresponding drop in stress levels and anxiety.

Of course, couples who didn't enjoy the S&M showed increased levels of stress and detachment from their significant others, according to the studies, which were conducted by researchers at Northern Illinois University and the University of Pisa in Italy.

But giving each other a sexy spanking did help many coupled-up partners feel closer to one another - those who were happy with their S&M time reported they experienced a tighter emotional bond.

Couples who spend more time together - whether it's leather-clad in the bedroom or walking along the beach - are likely to become closer, experts say.

"It doesn't have to be tying up your partner or placing clamps on their nipples, it could be something as simple as cooking a meal together or even doing the housework as a duo," Richard Wiseman, a psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, UK, told New Scientist magazine.

Lake Vostok.

Lake Vostok (Russian: восток, "east") is the largest of more than 140 subglacial lakes found under the surface of Antarctica. It is located beneath Russia's Vostok Station, 4,000 meters (13,000 ft) under the surface of the central Antarctic ice sheet.

No other natural lake environment on Earth is as rich in oxygen and it is speculated that any organisms inhabiting the lake would have needed to evolve special adaptations to survive. These adaptations to an oxygen-rich environment, might include high concentrations of protective enzymes.

Due to the lake's similarity to the Jupiter moon Europa and Saturn's moon Enceladus, any confirmation of life living in Lake Vostok would strengthen the prospect for the possible presence of life on Europa or Enceladus.

Real Life Little Mermaid

Shiloh Pepin will turn 8 years old on Saturday, against all odds, against all reason and against what doctors told her parents the day she was born.

Shiloh was born with sirenomelia, a disorder also known as Mermaid Syndrome. The vast majority of fetuses with sirenomelia never make it to full-term. Of those that do — and scientists say their numbers are only in the hundreds throughout the world and throughout history — almost all die within hours of birth.

Again, Fox News shows their accuracy.

So I click on this link for these triplets that were just born. They're rare cause they're identical. I think that kind of stuff is cool. Besides. I love babies.

Making with the clickie, I see that there is a "Click here for video of the identical triplets" link. And I'm like, OH. Cute. Moving babies! And I click.

And get this article. 'Gay gang drugged and infected us' The article in and of itself is pretty horrific.

But DOOD.

Uhm.

I don't see no baby triplets.
