I love my things updates. It gives my short attention span ass something to aim for.
- First, you likey the penguins. You get the penguins.
- Then, in case you missed my ginormous pix post about my day trip to NYC, you should check that shit out.
- I called Loni the Wise at Weichert (I get my renter's insurance from there, so they gave me a slight deal on the auto insurance). I told him I sent him $147, but he *realllly* needs to do something about my payments. I want to make the payments. But I can't. I said "Hell, I have no money, I just got a new car!" and he laughed. So he's calling the insurance company. If he's got issues, he'll call.
- Last night, I was doing my version of balancing my checkbook, and I realized I had a SEVERE math error somewhere. In my favor. Sure enough, I can't do remedial math. With a calculator. So I have $100 more than I thought I did. Which makes me decidedly less nauseous about life.
- Yesterday was Easter, in case you didn't know. I went to my mother's. Thank the gods I had my Squish with me. At one point, they were ripping apart my father. Charlie started to rant how my dad owes my mother money, and I went "SPEAKING of owing me money..." and he goes "Oh, I know, your mother & I just talked about this" and I said "I don't want to talk to HER about this, I want to talk to YOU about this. You owe me $100 a month, and the $758 you're in arrears to me" and he goes "I know, I know, we were just talking about this, don't kick my ass, or hahaa, get your dad to do it" (that tied in with an earlier conversation) and I said "Oooh, I don't need my dad to kick your ass. Two kicks, me kicking you in the balls, and then once when your down for fun."
Yeah. I'm tired of him taking advantage of me. I'll just keep reminding him, and bothering him and all sortsa fun stuff. If I'm one thing, it's relentless.
Squish brought his laptop, so we showed them pix of Steph & Tim's wedding and the cruise. :)
- Tax season is over today. Praise to the end of tax hell. WEEE! All my filing is done, all my packaging is done, and I'm sooo HAAPPAAAY.
- Oooh. Type long enough and you get a call back on your insurance. I just WIGGED OUT on Loni the Wise. I told him that my original policy for the Ford Taurus was $1600 a year. It went up $600 a year cause I moved to the ghetto & got a ticket. I'm FINE with that. The NEW policy is quoting me at $1920 a year. OKAY fine. Newer car. In the ghetto. FULL FUCKING COVERAGE. I'm fine with the $300 a year increase. I UNDERSTAND IT. Now they want $866 because I'm *late*???
Let's do the math, Loni the wise. I've paid you people $494.90 on 11.01.05 as a premium. Then I paid some "balance" of $31.00 (I moved, fine). THEN I paid $144.02 on 12.15.05, $144.02 on 12.29.05, 147.51 on 02.01.06. I just sent out a payment of $147.51 on 04.13.06 and I FULLY expect them not to have gotten it yet. So doing the math without that last payment. So that is $961.48 WITHOUT the 147.51 I just sent. With it that's $1,108.96 on a policy of $1920.
Doing the math thereon, I owe on my new policy $811.04. $55 LESS than the new "premium" they want. So suddenly we're not COUNTING the $900 I paid before this last payment? WHAT THE FUCK BUDDY.
So you best believe Loni the Wise went "uhh.. she can do remedial math. She got the brain today. Uhm. I'm gonna call First Trenton again".
Yeah. You fucking BET your sweet ass you are Loni the Wise. Oh yes.
