1. I received this cd today. SQUEEE!

2. Last night I went out with my friend Kellie to chinee buffet. We dragged her 3 and a half year old son, Joey, who i haven't seen in like, a year.

He walks up to me and is all like "Hello. My name is Joey. Who are you?" and I say, "I'm Nicole" and he goes "Nice to meet you, come with me" and holds out his hand and shows me his room.

THE CUTE WAS DISGUSTING!

Then all night long he was going "You're BYOOOTIFUL" and "You have BYOOOTIFUL eyes" and stuff. IT WAS SO FRIGGIN CUTE! And he wouldn't eat for his mother. But he'd try everything I gave him. So we "shared". heheheh... SO CUTE.

My fortune cookie of the night was...

"A vivid and creative mind is just one of your many great attributes".....in bed.

*bwaahahahah*

Hung out with Kellie for a bit after that. Her man Ethan came over with Dune. Fun fun. I left after a bit cause ya know. I'm old and it was a weeknight.

Found a TEAR in the arm of my backseat. GRR. I dunno if the carseat did it, but Kellie said she didn't think so. But quite frankly, I never use that door, so I have no idea. *sigh*

3a. Filled out my NJ Manufacturer's insurance. Christ. I think they want a sample of my DNA as well. Sheesh.

3b. I called Loni the Twit at my current insurance agency about the GINORMOUS premium they want from my ass. I was firm, but nice. CALL ME BACK OR DIE. Okay, I was nicer than thaat. Sheeesh.
EDIT Those jackasses never took off Skye, my Ford Taurus from the policy. DUHHH. So he's readmitting it to them. What this really does is buys me more time for the NJM stuff *grins*

4. Going to a cheesy jewelry party tonight held by my candle lady. If you can follow that, good for you.

5. IT'S SO GORGEOUS OUT!! Why oh why am I stuck in here. Gah. GAH I SAY!

6. *dances* Tomorrow is Friday. I soooo miss my boyfriend. :D

Well-behaved kids are something else.

I found a tear in the door of my van. Fucking pissed, I was. No idea how it got there.

well behaved kids are effin rare. he was not so well behaved when we left dinner, as it was close to his bedtime, he still had a slight cold, and he was craaankay.

but he was still not SOOO bad.

yeah, i'm completely irritated by that. i want to put a patch on it or something so it doesn't get worse. now that i have a nicer car, i'm pretty sure i'm gonna go to a body shop and get it patched or something. i also have a carpet issue.

the carpet in the back of my car is like, not stapled in or tucked in like it should be. so it looks ghetto. it annoys me. i want it fixed.

Takes good parents. Good parents takes good people. Good people are very hard to come by.

Cranky is how kids are when they need to go to bed -- I can't fault them for that.

Cars are about as bad as boats as far as being black holes for money to fall into.

My dad had TWO Priuses with the same VIN placed onto his insurance by Liberty Mutual. Nice going, guys... how did they think that was possible?

What ever became of the Taurus anyway?

uhm. retards.

it's still in the driveway ;)

i need to call someone and have it removed. i'm thinking of donating it. i mean, yes the trans is bad, but that's really the only thing. so if someone else can get use out of it, far be it from me to not let them get use of it.

The donate people will apparently take ANYTHING. It's crazy.

1.Hmm, didn't even watch the movie. Assumed it was the usual "Sci-Fi Original" no- budget crapfest. Did I err?

2. Glad you enjoyed the cuteness. Steel gives me my fix every week :)

3. Have no car, but miss my old Taurus :(

4. Cheese jewelry. Mmmm, cheddar ankle bracelet.....

5. Yes, gorgeous it is. Watched Steel and the puppy running around on the lawn for about 90 minutes. Tried to sit out in the sun and read Wizards and Glass, but after 3 minutes Steel picked up a huge (for him) rock and threw it straight up instead of his usual arc and nearly brained himself. My heart skipped a beat as the farking boulder missed his head by about 2 inches. No more reading after that....

6. You'll have your squishy soon enough :)

2. aww :)

5. hahaha... heart attack much?

6. jes. mew.

yeah i second her on the carseat thing. i seriously doubt it unless it was mangled and had broken off and pointy plastic parts. they are really smooth-edged, etc. it could just be worn from age.

you can buy a special needle that has a curve in it at jo-ann's or hanckock for just that purpose. by a very thick thread and sew it up. there will be a seam but it will look much better. i had ot do that for an old car of mine once.

know your is newer but still... it can happen.

Date: 2006-03-30 06:06 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] synnoveaevael.livejournal.com
exactly. it was a new looking carseat.

they do? i might do that. hmmm....

i swear, it doesn't even look like there's enough material to even BRIDGE THE GAP. that stuff is on there tight. but i can hand sew. i'll do that.

From: [identity profile] vanillagenocide.livejournal.com
if it is fabric it should work (if you know ow to sew which i think i recall you do). for vinyl, get a kit. :)

Date: 2006-03-30 06:43 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] synnoveaevael.livejournal.com
yar, i know how to sew. but it's vinyl. dammit! i think. i dunno!
