Grandpa update.

Well.

He doesn't *want* to move around.

So he's developed a nice case of pneumonia.

He keeps saying how it'd be easier for everyone if he didn't live through the surgery and blahblahblah.

So he's in the critical care unit.

Leaving work early tonight to go up with my aunt & Heidi to see him.

He really needs some anti-anxiety meds. When he was on them, he got up and walked around on the floor and stuff. Was joking with people.

It sucks.

CALLING ALL GEEKS!

I finished Firefly.

I want to watch Serenity.

Does anyone have a copy I can borrow?

Just thought I'd share. It's neat to nose around there and stuff.

Okies.

SOOOO. I went to the hospital.

The grandpa. Well, he's as okay as HE can be right now.

AND BLESS THE GODS OF PAXIL!!!

He's on Paxil. WEE!

So, he's got some fluid in his lungs, which I'm convinced he wouldn't have if he just MOVED AROUND.

Still on lots of oxygen. Bruised like WHOA. He lost a lot of weight. His shoulders are all skinnie. We're Polish, we don't GET skinnie shoulders.

So. He's doing better than I thought he was. I don't know. I'm hopeful. Everyone else seems to be walking on eggshells. They did this with my grandmother too, but HIII. Her procedures were just *slightly* less than normal.


I'm hopeful :)
