I don't know what moment they want me to really highlight here. "A" moment is sort of vague...

I mean, I have had several moments. Those ones you feel elation in. The ones where your world changes forever, for good or for bad.

The day I heard Trish was pregnant with Joey. I felt my heart swell.

Each time I've received a call telling me someone I loved was dead. The way a little piece of me went with them.

The day I got engaged. Gods, I was drunk. But it was an amazing day. Such an amazing day.

The day that engagement was through, officially. It hurt just as much as when I realized months earlier that it was going to end, if not more.

The day I learned I had precancerous cells. The emptiness and loss and worry I felt.

Every time I have a clear pap. I feel like I've cheated the devil again.

Every time my kitten climbs into my lap, and purrs at me like I am the reason she is happy.

All these things are the little moments that make life, life.
