I had to chop my nails, cause the two middle finger nails broke.

I left my thumbs a bit longer.

But now it feels weird, after a few months of actually having nails to have short nails again.

Weird.

edit Dammit. Looks like the nail wasn't done breaking. My left middle finger's nail is all sorts of short. Gr.

I know the feeling. When I was still at the store, I would keep my nails for all of 2 weeks or so, just enough to let me get used to having them. Then they would snap off and, hello nerve endings!

But now? Only the occasional unfortunate accidents will cost me thier clicky-ness. No more trucks! :D

DUDE.

The damn nails on my right hand are breaking like it's the only thing they have to do, or something. It's pissing me off.

Now, my left hand is all long nd pretty but my right hand is gnarly and short. Fuckin' annoying. I HATE cutting my nails just after it WEEKS to grow them into a pretty, respectable length. Jeez. You'd think they'd OBEY.

The worst is when one breaks all jaggedy and then you cant find the clippers or scissors to even it out... and you're jonesing for an emmory board and you work in an office full of men so none of THEM has one... so you pick and pick and try to get it even without looking like you're gnawing on the end of your finger until finally you just have to bite the rest of them off to match the one that broke in the first place and you end up with hang-nails on every finger and a bloody stump where your thumb used to be.

My index on my right hand broke (of course below the nail line) last week. *ouch* And i thought that was the end of the horror... but looks like the middle left has a clean break right at the nail line... so now they all gotta go.
