I wiki'd that shit. Apparently the reason you thought his name was Goliath is because until 2001 the record was held by a Shire draft who stood 19.2 hands tall. Guess what his name was? Now a Shire makes a heck of a lot more sense to be the tallest draft horse because they are widely held to be the tallest of the modern day draft horse breeds. Belgian are big but usually wide, like Kahlua. So I'm surprised he isn't ousted by some Shire out there.
There isn't a horse alive today who can top the tallest horse who was 21.2 hands high and also a Shire.
