Holy crap!

synnoveaevaelSo. I got Trisha's version of the birth out. No WONDER my aunt sounded scared.
Me: how are you feeling?
Trisha: I am feeling pretty good I am just very sore... of course that is to be expected beings I was taken in so fast and they didn't really take their time...
Me: so what exactly happened? i've been telling people that it was complications with the epidural. cause i don't know. and yer mom kept saying she'd call and she never did, and when *i* would call she said she'd call back. she made me crazy!!
Trisha: basically I was in labor for about 4 hours and Joey's heartrate dropped from 150 down to the 70's... so they almost took me in then but then his heartrate went back up so they did an amniotic transfusion to give him some more fluid and they stopped my contractions completely... that last about 10 minutes and his heartrate dropped again....
Me: eep!
Trisha: never in my life have I seen people jump so fast... I had about 15 people around me and they were injecting me with things as they were running me down the hall... they second epidural didn't work so they put me under general anistesia and they had Joey out in about 45 seconds
Me: holy shit
Me: your mom called and was like "he's here" and i was like "fucking what?!?! already?!?!"
Trisha: yeah he wasn't breathing when he first came out so they had to resusitate him.... but he is doing so good you would never have known he came in with such a bang
Me: oh good god. how scary.
Trisha: yeah if nothing else he did come into the world fast.... I didn't have to at least go through 18 hours of labor and then they decide to do a c-section
Trisha: yeah it was probably the the scarest moment in my life
Trisha: even more so for Brian... I mean he couldn't be in there with me because I was out and then when they let him in to see the baby I was still on the table wide open... after they closed me they wouldn't let him see me.... he was kind of upset because they were like go to the newborn nursery and he was like I am not attached to him yet I am attached to her.... I felt bad...
Me: awwwwwwwwwww!!! the poor guy!!
Me: what a scary day!
Me: that kid better not continue this drama streak. OH NO.
Trisha: yeah he better take it easy
Me: poor brian. i had no idea!
Me: your mother is terrible at relaying details when she wants to be.
Trisha: yeah I think she was just really scared
Trisha: I mean they didn't get to see me until like 3 and the baby was born at 12:35
Me: she sounded scared, but i didn't know why!
Me: i was like "is everything okay??"
Me: why did it take them so long, were you still out?
Trisha: yeah I had to go to the recovery room for a while
Me: awww, you poor thing
Me: you did look out of it in the first pix, but i was like, anesthesia will do that to anyone
Trisha: yeah it was not fun....

doctorsidiots gave her labor-inducing drugs. Why was this a bad thing? They knew ahead of time that the placenta was laying ACROSS the birth canal. So the drugs converted my skull into a battering ram (and some things never quite change, do they?). My father was told that I was dead and my mother was 50/50.no subject
